Strays Music Festival

Goal: Rebrand or create a festival.

Strays is a music festival celebrating Midwest Emo bands.

For this design, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone by experimenting with colours and styles I don’t typically use. After researching different design movements, I found myself torn between Digital Brutalism and Punk aesthetics, so I decided to merge both.

From the beginning, I envisioned a spiral focused composition in dark green, yellow and brown tones, drawing inspiration from the visual style of the show Daria. My goal was to capture the raw, introspective energy that embodies the sound and spirit of the festival’s lineup.
